Janice Dickinson Has Some Choice Words For Tyra Banks
Cat fight! Former supermodel Janice Dickinson doesn’t seem to be over the fact she was dropped from America’s Next Top Model.
She recently had the following to say about Tyra Banks:
She’s huge. She’s a big woman. I used to think she was a man. I used to look at her and think, ‘Something isn’t right here.’
Both Dickinson and Banks are 5’10".
Tyra Banks Looking For Plus-Sized Teen Models
Tyra Banks announced on her show Monday that she’ll be hosting a plus-sized teen model search.
The requirements include having a dress size of 12 to 20 and being 5’9"-6’1" tall.
She said:
I’ve always felt it was my mission to expand the narrow perceptions of beauty. Through America’s Next Top Model, True Beauty and The Tyra Show, I challenge industry and universal standards by featuring and celebrating non-traditional beauty, and stressing that true beauty is both inside and out.
Banks doesn’t like that the term “plus-sized” is viewed as negative. She continued:
I want young girls to realize that what’s considered plus-sized is the average American woman. That woman is healthy, fit and beautiful. Adolescence is such an impressionable time in a young woman’s life, and I hope this contest helps teen girls discover their own beauty from the inside out.
The winner, who will be announced the first week of March on her talk show, will score a one-year modeling contract as well as a spread in a major fashion magazine.
Tyra's Talk Show Is Ending
Taking after Oprah, I see?
Tyra Banks’ talk show, The Tyra Show, is ending after five seasons.
She says:
This will be the last season of The Tyra Show. I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.
The model-turned-tv personality will be focusing on the launch of her film production company, Bankable Studios:
My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.
An insider adds:
Tyra is sad because she’ll be missing so much of the daily connection to her viewers, but excited at the same time to be taking on a new challenge.
This is surprising, considering I thought Tyra would be fighting hard for Oprah’s time slot!

You Can Kiss Tyra's Fat Behind!
The talk show host is back in shape, and it’s all because she regained control of her eating habits.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Tyra Show, the model reveals a longtime struggle she has with stomachaches:
I would get major attacks. I would be in bed for days, it was so painful.
The 35-year-old thanks her nutritionist for helping her re-evaluate her eating habits by keeping a food diary:
I switched up my unhealthy eating habits for healthier eating habits, and I haven’t had a tummy attack since December ’08.
Since that whole swimsuit incident back in 2007 (come on, you know what I’m talking about), she’s lost almost 30 lbs! The girl still has curves, though:
I feel good about my curves and my imperfections – my booty, my boobs, my thighs – I embrace it all. Now I really can say … kiss my fat – and still fat – ass.
Such an achievement. Woohoo, Tyra!

Is Tyra's Assistant Making Bank?
If he wins the lawsuit he filed against her in a small claims court, the answer is yes!
Richard Thomas, Tyra Banks’ former assistant, claims the talk show host owes him $5,820. He complains the money is for “services rendered as assistant and advisor.”
According to the documents, Thomas is required to ask Tyra for the money prior to filing suit. But he says:
I have not been able to catch [Tyra] while she is in.
