Jessica Simpson Is Unhappy With John Mayer

Jessica Simpson isn’t too pleased her ex, John Mayer, spoke publicly about their sex life. The singer tells Oprah:

I don’t want people to know how I am in bed.

In an interview with Playboy magazine, Mayer had said:

Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.

The 29-year-old also addressed that whole “mom jeans” incident, and broke down in tears explaining how all those comments hurt her.

This episode of the talk show is set to air today (Tuesday). I’m going to have to watch it later!

Tyra's Talk Show Is Ending

Taking after Oprah, I see?

Tyra Banks’ talk show, The Tyra Show, is ending after five seasons.

She says:

This will be the last season of The Tyra Show. I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.

The model-turned-tv personality will be focusing on the launch of her film production company, Bankable Studios:

My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.

An insider adds:

Tyra is sad because she’ll be missing so much of the daily connection to her viewers, but excited at the same time to be taking on a new challenge.

This is surprising, considering I thought Tyra would be fighting hard for Oprah’s time slot!

Oprah Hurt Chris Brown's Feelings

After the whole Chris Brown and Rihanna incident surfaced, Oprah put on an entire show focused on domestic abuse.

Chris Brown had the following to say about it:

I commend Oprah on being like, ‘This is a problem,’ but it was a slap in my face. I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could have been more helpful, like, ‘OK, I’m going to help both of these people out.’

After hearing that, Oprah issued the following statement via TMZ.

Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school but she takes domestic abuse very seriously. She hopes he gets the counseling he needs.

Oprah wins this battle…by far!

Anna Wintour Comments on Oprah's Weight

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour told talk show queen, Oprah, to lose 20 pounds back in 1998 in order to be on the cover of the fashion magazine.

In a 60 minutes interview, the editor said:

It was a very gentle suggestion. I went to Chicago to visit Oprah, and I suggested that it might be an idea that she lose a little bit of weight. I said simply that you might feel more comfortable. She was a trooper!

Well it looks though those words of advice may have given Oprah a kick in the behind! Ten years back she was featured on the cover under the title:

Oprah! A Major Movie, An Amazing Makeover

Wintour continued:

She totally welcomed the idea, and she went on a very stringent diet. And it was one of our most successful covers ever.

Generally, Vogue is against Photoshopping pictures. Anna says it makes her angry. She feels that looking wonderful doesn’t make one less important, powerful, or serious.

I’d just been on a trip to Minnesota, where I can only kindly describe most of the people I saw as little houses. There’s such an epidemic of obesity in the United States, and for some reason, everybody focuses on anorexia. We need to spend money time and education on teaching people to eat, exercise and take care of themselves in a healthier way. It [has gotten people] provoked, which is really the point.
