Once Lindsay Cleans Up Her "Stuff", She'll Be Okay

In a new interview on The Insider, Linday reveals her home is packed with HUNDREDS of pairs of shoes and racks upon racks of designer clothers. These things are all overwhelming for the actress, who says:

The biggest problem is that I have a lot of stuff. I finally have most of it in one place.

Lohan explains the clutter has been in her life for “too long” and she’s finally ready to do something about it:

This is my home. I just want to be much more serene in here and clear.

Her mom, Dina, thinks cleaning out the space will allow her little actress to get to a “healtier emotional place”:

My father used to say a disheveled room leads to a disheveled mind. We’re donating a lot of it to charity. Some of it will go on our Web site lohanhouse.com.

Lindsay believes donating some belongings will help her to move past emotional difficulties:

There [are] a lot of people that are there for the wrong reasons. I started to realize a lot more was being taken from me than was given. It became more draining than anything else. In this industry people build you up to knock you down.

Is There A Gaga/Lohan Collaboration In The Near Future?

The answer will be YES if Producer Rodney Jerkins has anything to do with it!

Jerkins is the one behind Lady Gaga’s recent hookup with Beyonce on Video Phone. He now wants the superstar to team up with tabloid fixture, Lindsay Lohan.

He says:

I would love to see what could happen.

Jerkins believes Lohan has a big pop career ahead of her:

If she stays focused, I think she has what it takes… I’ve talked to her, and I said, ’You’ve got what it takes. I really believe in you.’ I believe she has it, something deep down. I’ve listened to her in the past, and I think there’s something there. It just needs to be pulled out.

I think someone just wants to be responsible for reviving her career!

Lindsay Lohan's Leggings Help Haiti

Lindsay Lohan is helping in the Haiti relief effort by donating proceeds from the sales of her 6126 leggings line. The money will benefit the Save The Children charity, which helps kids who suffered in the earthquake.

Lohan says:

It is truly horrible what has happened to the people and children in Haiti. I believe every company should do their part to help by donating what they can. Please help us do our part for the Children of Haiti by purchasing this 6126 legging. I am proud to announce that we are giving 100 per cent of the proceeds to Haiti’s children through an organization I am passionate about, Save the Children.

Why is Dina out partying with Lindsay when it’s clear she’s still cutting herself? Dina should be getting Lindsay help, not following her to parties.

Sad. If this is true, hopefully she gets the help she needs.

Lindsay Lohan Gives Back

Lindsay Lohan recently returned from a humanitarian trip to India for a documentary she’s filmed for BBC. The actress says that giving back is the most important thing to be doing right now.

She tells Extra:

I think its so important right now — especially [because of] what just happened in Haiti — for everybody to kind of look at themselves and look at the life that they have and be really grateful for what they have and do as much as they can… especially if they have a voice.

Lindsay was in attendance at InStyle’s Golden Globes party, so she clearly couldn’t get away without being asked who her favorite winner of the night was:

Drew Barrymore. I just love her so much. Her speech was so genuine and I just thought it was beautiful.

Lindsay Lohan's Mom Is Proud Of Her

Lindsay Lohan filmed a documentary in India that focuses on the investigation of the trafficking of women and children.

Dina, the actress’ mom, says:

It was an amazing, life-changing experience for her. I’m so proud of Lindsay, that under all the scrutiny the tabloids put her under, she is a very strong, caring, talented girl who ignores all the negative, and continues to move forward in a positive direction. I am so proud of her.

According to the BBC, the premise of the film is as follows:

[Lohan meets with] young boys who work 16-hour days under the constant threat of beatings, …a reformed trafficker who would make a quick buck luring young girls…[and] a shelter where young girls promised domestic work for India’s burgeoning middle classes were trafficked into brothels and forced into prostitution. As her trip draws to an end, Lindsay questions whether the increasing demand for domestic help and consumer goods by India’s wealthy, coupled with the increasing poverty in rural India, means there is any solution to this abominable trade.

Lindsay's Former BFF Speaks

Yesterday, it was reported that Lindsay Lohan’s longtime best friend, Patrick Aufdenkamp, stole sketches from her new 6126 clothing line to use for himself.

We didn’t expect it would take too long for Aufdenkamp to release a statement, and he did so to PerezHilton.com:

I stand by my integrity as an artist and my morals as a business person. I would like to see any shred of evidence that supports those ridiculous allegations, there is no evidence and there will be nothing Lindsay or her company can find to show otherwise. I’m way too creative of an individual to need to steal anything design-related from that girl. She knows how much my new line means to me and has seen first hand all the HARD and HONEST work I have put into bringing it to life. The fact that she is trying to take that away from me with a guilt free conscious and can still sleep at night, is in essence, (for those of you who may not already know) exactly what kind of person she is right now. Throughout our entire friendship I have always respected her, her privacy, and wanted nothing but the best. It breaks my heart to see someone I once looked up to, turned to, and considered a sister, stoop to a new kind of low. Just because her career is stuck at a stand still, mine is just taking off. I could not be more thankful for the place I am in today. And am far too creative to need or want these designs of “her’s” that simply don’t exist. I give credit when it is due and my line that is about to come out next month is 100 percent, my own. I think she should start off this year by addressing the REAL issues that face her life first…From the bottom of my heart, I wish her nothing but a happy & healthy 2010. (I am relieved to say I have finally made it home SAFE, and am exhausted, overwhelmed and drained from everything that I have endured on this trip, one day soon this will all make sense to you, but right now that’s all I can say). Thank you all for the support.
