Kate Gosselin Laughs About Rumors
Kate Gosselin appeared on The View Wednesday where she joked about rumors of being a diva on Dancing With The Stars.
Earlier this week, Page Six reported:
[Kate] doesn’t want anything to do with other contestants [and has] set herself apart [because she] wants to be queen bee.
One problem: the mom of eight has been rehearsing in a dance studio the show built in her Pennsylvania home, so she hasn’t even been around the other cast members!
She said:
I’m 3,000 miles away! I was out [in L.A.] once for five days and met everyone and had a great time.
Kate doesn’t let this get to her, though. She’s too busy focusing on her kids to pay attention to these silly stories!
Kate Gosselin Determined To Win 'Dancing With The Stars'
But she’s not too much of dancing queen, which may detrimental!
She tells People:
I do want to win. It’s just that the dancing part is getting in the way of winning. In my mind, I’m winning. In my actions, not so much.
Gosselin still strives to do her best, explaining:
If I last two weeks on the show, I’ve shown my kids that hard work and perseverance pays off. And if I don’t win, I’ve shown them you don’t always have to come in first. You just have to keep on trying.
I truly believe she’ll make it far on the show. Popularity tends to come before skill (in the beginning, at least!).
Kate Gosselin Busted For Speeding
Kate Gosselin got ticketed on February 21st in Latimore Township, PA for going 73 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Just five days after the incident, she pleaded guilty and paid a $155.50 fine.

Are you surprised? The mommy of 8 will be one of the celebs joining the ninth season of Dancing With The Stars.
The rest of the line-up will be announced tonight, Monday, after the finale of ABC’s The Bachelor.
Kate will be practicing near her Pennsylvania home in order to continue to take care of her little ones. According to RadarOnline.com:
The show was willing to accommodate her because they believe she’ll be a huge draw.

Kate Gosselin To Release Third Book
Kate Gosselin is set to release I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on on April 13 through Zondervan Publishers. The book not only features prayers and excerpts from her journal, but also individual letters to each one of her eight children.
In a statement, the former Jon and Kate Plus Eight star says:
Each day the thought crosses my mind that when they get older, my kids are going to look back and think about how they were raised. I know they will have a lot of questions about things that may not make sense because they were raised so unconventionally. I don’t want them to grow up and wonder; I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them.
Kate is currently in production on a new show for TLC. Wonder what it’s about?

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is in discussions to have a “Bachelor-esque” dating show.

Love her or hate her, people are fascinated by Kate. She has a lot of mouths to feed and Kate looking for love will certainly put bread on the table.
There’s no doubt in my mind that show would be a ratings hit!
Jon And Kate Divorce Finalized
Jon and Kate Gosselin are now single people.
In a statement, Kate said:
I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children. On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case. This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.
All eight children will live with Kate in their family home.
Meanwhile, Jon has been ordered to pay child support. The amount he will be handing over to his ex-wife is not being made public at this time.
