'Kate Plus 8' Is Almost Here!
Kate Gosselin stopped by The Today Show to chat with Meredith Vieira about her upcoming show on TLC, Kate Plus 8. Although I realize ratings had a major drop by the end of their last season, I can’t help but wonder if her stints on Dancing With The Stars and various talk shows will build a new fan base for her. I’m excited to watch – those kids are so cute!

Pamela Anderson Explains Tax Problems
Earlier this month, the California Franchise Tax Board released its annual list of delinquent tax payers. Pamela Anderson was on of their culprits! The former Baywatch babe owes almost $500,000 in taxes, but is working on figuring it all out.
She took it to twitter to explain:
I’m not trying to avoid any tax obligation. Certain events occurred, outside of my control which caused this temporary but embarrassing situation. All of my tax obligations will be resolved in the very near future.

Are Kate Gosselin And Her Kids Moving To Hollywood?
Kate Gosselin, who is currently competing on Dancing With the Stars, may be looking to move to the west coast.
Sources reveal the mom of 8 has been house hunting in the Hollywood Hills for a new mansion! A friend of hers says:
Now that Kate has tasted the excitement of Hollywood, there is no way that she is going to return to Pennsylvania. She is looking at homes in the Hollywood Hills in gated communities in the $2 million range. Kate is insisting the properties she sees have a pool, at least six bedrooms, an outdoor hot tub and, bizarrely, a recording studio!
She also has been meeting with new agents, managers and publicists:
Kate wants to be a movie star. Kate thinks that after Jennifer Aniston’s last few films didn’t do so well, America needs a new girl next door. And who better to fill Jen’s shoes than Kate!
This sounds fabricated to me, but hey…that’s just my opinion. What do you think?

Jon Gosselin Seeking Primary Custody Of Kids
So much for being “happy” for Kate during her stint on _Dancing With The Stars _ (which, I hate to say, will probably end soon). Ex-reality TV dad Jon Gosseln is seeking primary custody of their 8 children together, but Kate’s attorney is calling the claims “reckless” and “offensive”.
Jon hired a new lawyer, Anthony List, who says Kate is an “absentee mom” and her dancing gig is hurting the kids.
Kate’s lawyer, Mark Momijan , said in a statement:
We haven’t received any formal filing yet but I can’t imagine anything farther from the truth. Kate is a devoted mother. Her concern for the welfare of her kids is so prominent that any allegations like this report are reckless and so far from the mark, it’s offensive.
Jon allegedly wants Kate to pay HIM support (right now he’s dishing out $20,000 a month). Way to open the can of worms again.
Kate Gosselin Laughs About Rumors
Kate Gosselin appeared on The View Wednesday where she joked about rumors of being a diva on Dancing With The Stars.
Earlier this week, Page Six reported:
[Kate] doesn’t want anything to do with other contestants [and has] set herself apart [because she] wants to be queen bee.
One problem: the mom of eight has been rehearsing in a dance studio the show built in her Pennsylvania home, so she hasn’t even been around the other cast members!
She said:
I’m 3,000 miles away! I was out [in L.A.] once for five days and met everyone and had a great time.
Kate doesn’t let this get to her, though. She’s too busy focusing on her kids to pay attention to these silly stories!
Kate Gosselin Determined To Win 'Dancing With The Stars'
But she’s not too much of dancing queen, which may detrimental!
She tells People:
I do want to win. It’s just that the dancing part is getting in the way of winning. In my mind, I’m winning. In my actions, not so much.
Gosselin still strives to do her best, explaining:
If I last two weeks on the show, I’ve shown my kids that hard work and perseverance pays off. And if I don’t win, I’ve shown them you don’t always have to come in first. You just have to keep on trying.
I truly believe she’ll make it far on the show. Popularity tends to come before skill (in the beginning, at least!).
Kate Gosselin Busted For Speeding
Kate Gosselin got ticketed on February 21st in Latimore Township, PA for going 73 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Just five days after the incident, she pleaded guilty and paid a $155.50 fine.
