Jon And Kate Divorce Finalized

Jon and Kate Gosselin are now single people.

In a statement, Kate said:

I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children. On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case. This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.

All eight children will live with Kate in their family home.

Meanwhile, Jon has been ordered to pay child support. The amount he will be handing over to his ex-wife is not being made public at this time.

Jon Gosselin Penned Secret Contract With Kate Major

Things don’t seem to be looking up for Jon Gosselin.

TLC is suing him for breach of contract, and former fling Kate Major has been subpoenaed to give a deposition in the case.

The (former) reality TV dad signed a hand-written agreement with the entertainment mag reporter and promised to hire her as his personal assistant.

RadarOnline.com obtained the note, which reads:

I, Jon Gosselin, will employ Kate Major as a personal assistant.

The document is dated July 28, 2009.

Jon also wrote:

She will receive a percentage of accounts for payment based upon involvement.

Kate 2.0 added:

Jon and I will not comment publicly about our relationship.

Well, this definitely proves someone was lying…

Kate Gosselin Has A Hard Time Trusting People

In an interview airing on TLC, Kate Gosselin gets teary eyed when talking to Today Show’s Natalie Morales about her divorce.

The Jon and Kate star says she has a very small inner circle:

When you look around, and very close trusted people, who you would swear on your life would never ever … cash you in — and those people do that — you tend not to trust people.

Could she be talking about her estranged brother and sister-in-law, perhaps?

I want to apologize to Kate in private. I’ll apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye. That was a huge mistake, because if she would’ve done that to me, I would have been extremely pissed off. Not because our relationship is over, it’s almost like a stab in the back. And now that I think about it, it was a very wrong thing to do. I definitely regret it.

Star Magazine is reporting that a story based on the lives of Jon and Kate Gosselin is headed to the silver screen!

New Line Cinema is interested in producing a flick about the real-life drama. A source says:

Ideally they’d like Cameron Diaz for Kate. And Johnny Depp for Jon.

I have no words.

Would you go to see it?

Hailey Glassman Deals With Jon And His "Mantrums"

Well this sounds like a healthy relationship.

In part of an interview with The Insider starting on Thursday, Hailey Glassman says her boyfriend is emotionally abusive:

He’ll call me and take his anger out on me. He has ‘mantrums.’ I shouldn’t have to put up with being emotionally abused. I cry and say, ‘Why are you so mean to me?’

As for the lies Jon tells, Glassman says:

Sometimes he has trouble with the truth and he will dance and dance around his lies. He’s like Jekyll and Hyde. But I still love him.

Her life has definitely changed since dating the Jon and Kate Plus 8 dad, but she was unaware of the media surrounding him:

I met Jon in a bubble. I’d never seen the show. I had no idea. People judge me before they meet me. I get threats everyday. I get called a home wrecker and a fat whore. People will stare or point. It gets worse everyday.

But, at the end of the day, the 22-year-old is still very much in love.

Hmmmm….not gonna help his image.

Kate Gosselin Is Only "Sort Of" Back On The Market

Kate Gosselin appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show today were she explained dating is out of the question while she remains the focus of so much media attention.

The 34-year-old mom said:

I’m not thinking about it, but the thought has crossed my mind at some point [that] it’s going to be scrutinized. Let’s not talk about it.

Gosselin continued:

I just know that, on TV or off TV, I’ve been very much targeted and torn apart. I’m telling you [from] the root of my heart everything about me: I am a mother first. I will always be a mother and I would die for my kids if need be … My focus is them. It’s not the paparazzi. My focus is not what trip I can go on or what shows I can do as a result of this thing. This is my job. This is my paycheck and so this is what I do.

The kids are still getting used to seeing their mom without her wedding ring and the idea their parents are no longer together.

I think Kate is handling the media very well! Even while answering all these questions, you can tell the kids come first and foremost for her. You’d expect to her to rip Jon to pieces, but she somehow keeps her cool.

Kate Gosselin Files To Renew Her Nursing License

The same day Kate Gosselin said she’s keeping career options open for the future, she filed to renew her nursing license.

Gosselin submitted the document on October 26. She is seeking to keep her license active, which would have expired on Halloween. For $45 she’ll be set through 2011.

Before her next renewal she’ll have to complete thirty hours of continuing education credits in compliance with the State’s regulations.

If she does go back to healthcare, I bet Nurse Kate will be in popular demand!!

Kate Gosselin Would Love To Be In A Movie

Did anyone watch the “Ask Kate” episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 last night? Got to admit…I was interested to hear what she had to say!

During the show, she answered questions e-mailed by viewers. She did a great job doing so, too, as she addressed questions on both her dogs and her and Jon’s vow renewal over a year ago.

Something else she discussed were future career plans. Once the show ended, Kate said she’d like to stick to being on camera:

My career goals, believe it or not…I’ve discovered that I’ve done enough years of TV that I feel like it’s a normal, natural, comfortable place. I would love to be in a movie at some point. I would love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.

Her voice is so animated I actually think she’d make a great cartoon character. How cool would that be for the kids to have their mom do that? But don’t worry, Kate says if all else fails she’ll just go back to being a nurse!

Jon & Kate Will Be Ending...

Jon & Kate Plus 8 will no longer film new episodes after November.

Blame it on Jon, perhaps? The 32-year-old put the nix on the hit series, forbidding TLC to film his children after they announced the show would now be called Kate Plus 8.

A few more episodes from existing footage will still air. Kate has not made a comment.
