Lindsay Lohan Is A Fashion Hit

Believe it or not, Lindsay Lohan’s collection for French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro has been deemed a commercial success.

While style bible Women’s Wear Daily called her line “an emebarassment”, the company’s president Mounir Moufarrige stood behind Lohan and now reveals her designs have been flying off the shelves.

He tells Reuters:

Yes (she’s staying on), she has a job to do. The criticism was harsh. I am sure we can do better in the collection, to be honest. But it did sell well.

You know what they say – all press is good press!

Emanuel Ungaro Has Not Dropped Lindsay Lohan...Yet

Despite various reports, officials at Emanuel Ungaro confirm they will not drop Lindsay Lohan as creative consultant.

Her contribution to their runway show in September was panned by critics. Women’s Wear Daily even went so far as to call the collection “an embarassment.” Page Six reports chairman Asim Abdullah has been urging CEO Mounir Moufarrige to drop the actress.

Abdullah insists the stories are simply not true.

A rep says:

Such an insinuation is totally absurd.

I hope (for Lindsay’s sake) that the next collection she works on turns out far better than the first!

Lindsay's Hit Rock Bottom

Star is claiming the actress recently collapsed during some hardcore partying due to her drug addiction catching up with her.

One friend tells the mag:

She’s a wreck, a mess, a disaster. She an obituary waiting to happen.

The poor reviews from her debut Emanuel Ungaro runway show didn’t help, either:

She was crushed. Her eyes were red and puffy, and at one point she started shouting and tearing up.

Another source close to Lindsay adds:

She’s definitely hit rock bottom. The next level is six feet under.

Let’s hope that intervention Michael Lohan is planning will help her out.

Lindsay Lohan Brings New Style To Emanuel Ungaro

Lindsay Lohan is teaming up with Emanuel Ungaro as artistic adviser alongside a new chief designer Estrella Archs.

Lohan says her vision is to take the line to a “younger place”:

When I’m involved in a project, I give my all to it. I’ve always played a big part in what I wear, the costumes. Clothing is something that’s so expressive in so many ways…To be in a position where I’m working with a fashion house in Paris sets it apart from every other celebrity brand.

The actress, fashion designer and overall business mogul will oversee everything Archs does, bringing in new ideas from a different generation:

I want it to be simple and easy. I really think less is more — and you can add on more with accessories.

Lindsay will bring tons of publicity to the French fashion house, that’s for sure!
