Eva Longoria Parker is the star of ABC’s hit series Desperate Housewives, but being an actress isn’t always the path she wanted to follow! She actually has a degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M-Kingsville.

In the March issue of SUCCESS, she reveals she almost became a fitness director:

I was a total athlete. I wanted to work at a college… after I got my bachelor’s, I was going to go for my master’s in sports medicine, and I wanted to do sports injuries.

Her love for acting kicked in after she took a role on a daytime drama, and the rest is history!
