Rihanna is not happy her estranged father was speaking out about the incident with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown back in February.

Ronald Fenty appeared to be representing his daughter in a series of interviews when she went into hiding after being beaten by Brown. Rihanna says she hasn’t spoken to her father in a year, and he was in the wrong to accept cash for talking to the media about her.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest yesterday morning, the singer said:

He kinda did something that was really upsetting – he turned his back on me and went to the media and just got paid to talk about stuff. All these little interviews he was doing after the situation in February. I hadn’t spoken to him and he was speaking as though we did (speak) and it was so disappointing to me.

Ronald claimed he’d been trying to reconcile with Rihanna, but she says this isn’t true. Rihanna would love for her to call, though:

That seems strange because I’ve been the one trying to reconcile with him forever. I have not heard from my father in over a year… I try though… I did my part and now it’s on him.

The beauty says she’s contacted him on numerous occasions, but got no response.
