Despite what every report in the world is claiming, Michael Lohan says he “never got a dime” for the phone recordings with Lindsay that he released to the media.

We heard he exchanged them for $100,000 (nice little pay day), but Michael insists he did it to push his starlet daughter into rehab:

The day when your (sic) getting treatment and the rehab you need, is the day I shut my mouth. your (sic) not dying on my watch. I love you too much to just sit here & witness all this go down. I never got (a) DIME For the recordings/interviews CONTRARY to other reports.

He goes on to say that all recordings are legal since they were taped in New York, and there are more to come.
