With Mischa Barton remaining under psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center , production on her new CW show The Beautiful Life has been officially postponed.

The series was supposed to begin filming on Wednesday, July 22nd. It is now scheduled to resume on July 31st.

Reports claim that the production schedule was changed because the sets were not completed.

The Ashton Kutcher produced drama premieres on September 16th.
